Welcome to the Wilshire-Riverside Little League 2012 season! We are delighted to have you and your family a part of league. We anticipate that this year’s baseball and softball season will be as memorable and successful as those in the past.

Fundraising Opportunity

Thanks to the generous donations of products from Adidas, we are offering official merchandise as a fundraising vehicle for our league. All proceeds go directly to Wilshire Riverside player and coach development, field improvements and construction of new fields and facilities.

Levels of Play:

Little League International sponsors several levels of play for both softball and baseball. In Wilshire-Riverside Little League, we pride ourselves on fielding upwards of 50 teams each spring.

• T-Ball - Boys and Girls, League Ages 4 – 6
• Single A – Boys & Girls; League Ages 5 – 7, 5 & 6 year olds must have a year of T-ball
• Double A (formerly Farm League) (Pitching Machine/Player Pitch): Boys & Girls; League Age 8-10 OR League Age 7 with 1 Year Little League ‘Single A’ AND can safely compete (fielding & batting).
• Baseball - Boys and Girls, League Ages 7 – 16
  • Minor League: Boys & Girls; League Ages 9-11; Must Attend Player Evaluations
    Any 9-10 year old player not drafted to a Minor League team will be placed on a Double A (Farm) League team.
  • Major League: Boys & Girls; League Ages 10-12; Must Attend Player Evaluations
    Any 11 year old player not drafted to a Major League team will be drafted to a Minor League Team. 12 year olds will be drafted to a Major League team.
  • Juniors: Boys & Girls; League Ages 13-14; Team Formations based on age or as determined by VP of Juniors Baseball
• Softball - Girls, League Ages 7 – 16
  • Minor League: Girls; League Ages 9-11
  • Major League: Girls; League Ages 10-12
  • Juniors: Girls; League Ages 13-14
